Are you licensed?
Yes we are fully licensed with Worcestershire council who ensure we meet strict health and safety requirements. Our license is available for anyone to inspect.
Are you insured?
Yes we are fully insured by a specialist pet care agency, all documents are available to view.
Do you have first aid training?
Yes I have completed a canine first aid course, certificate is available to view.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes, you will need to show evidence your dog is up to date with his booster vaccinations to protect it against infections and disease. Your dog should also be treated for fleas. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is free from fleas. Unfortunately we are not able to board any dogs who have no proof of vaccinations, vaccinations should also have taken place at least 14 days before your dog visits.
Can I visit where my dog will be staying prior to his visit?
Yes in fact we insist on it. We want you to feel 100% happy and fully informed before your dog comes to stay with us. We want you to go away relaxed and confident that your dog will be in a safe and happy environment.
What if my dog does not settle?
We normally find dogs settle in quickly once they have had a good walk and have become accustomed to all the new smells, also having a play with Barney our Labrador tends to calm any nerves. However if we feel your dog is stressed or anxious by staying with us we will contact you or your emergency contact and arrange for your dog to be collected.
Is there a minimum stay?
No, your dog can stay as little or as long as you require.
What happens if my dog is ill whilst I am on holiday?
If your dog becomes ill whilst you are away we will in the first instance try to contact you, if you are not available we will contact your nominated contact to discuss their condition. If we think it is necessary your dog will be taken to your nominated vet. The cost of any treatment will be reclaimed on your return.
How many dogs are boarded /walked at one time?
We only walk a maximum of 2 dogs at a time but only with your consent, we can walk 1 on 1 if required, we also only allow 2 dogs to be boarded overnight.
What will I need to provide for my dog?
You will need to provide food, treats, toys, grooming equipment. Your dog may feel more at home in his own bed but we do have beds, bedding, towels, bowls etc.If your dog has special dietary needs or medication this is not a problem. Prior to your dogs visit all feeding times etc will be discussed.
I would like my dog to be exercised off the lead is this possible?
All street walks will always be done on a lead, if you require off lead exercise we will ensure your dog is taken to a safe environment to ensure their safety.
Are all dogs suitable for home boarding?
No our service is only suitable for friendly, family pets.We are happy to accommodate puppies as long as they are house and/or crate trained. We are happy to accept all breeds as long as they are obedient ,non destructive and non aggressive.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made through BACS or Cash.
When is the fee due for my booking?
Your balance is due when you collect your dog. For dog walking a invoice will be sent on the last day of every month, which will need to be paid within 3 days.
What happens if I do not show up for my booking?
If you do not turn up or cancel giving less than 48 hours notice the total fee will be payable.
What happens if I collect my dog earlier than planned?
If you return from holiday earlier than planned there will be no refund of payment due.
